Get your work done in these Issaquah Cafes
Working remotely in Issaquah? I do all the time. Read on to see which Issaquah cafes I work form the most and why. I gravitate towards the cafes in this list because of these factors:
- Seating availability – I can consistently find a place to sit.
- Good quantity of power outlets.
- Wifi is reliable and fast.
I don’t include noise in the list of factors. This is intentional. Noise is a big deal. However cafes are usually pretty noisy. Loud conversations and music playing. I can’t find too many consistently quiet cafes. So I choose to use headphones when I need to block out distractions.
Issaquah Meadows Starbucks
Issaquah meadows Starbucks is located off Gilman in the same plaza as QFC. It is right off I-90.
Tons of seating. A long window bar with plenty of power outlets makes this one of my regular spots. This place is spacious, probably the largest coffee shop in the area. A couch and fire place are available for more casual seating and there are two big shared tables. There are a variety of seating options and plenty of power outlets.
Are you an early bird or an evening worker? Issaquah Meadows Starbucks opens at 4:30AM and closes at 9pm most days. Friday and Saturday closing time is 30 minutes later at 9:30pm.
Issaquah Meadows Starbucks is not a secret. It is usually packed during the 9-5 working hours. That being said there is decent turnover. So I usually don’t wait too long.
I like to get here early (before 9) and camp out for half the day. While I prefer more boutique coffee shops, the variety of food and drinks at Starbucks makes its great for long work sessions. I can only drink so much coffee and eat so many pastries.
- Sunday-Thursday 4:30AM-9:00PM
- Friday-Satruday 4:30AM-9:30PM

Issaquah Cafes: Anchorhead Coffee Issaquah
Anchorhead launched its business in 2016 with its first Seattle location. The Issaquah location is tucked away in the Talus community on Cougar Mountain. I really love Anchorhead’s coffee and usually pick up a bag of whole bean coffee when I visit. This cafe is out of way as it is located deep within a planned community. It features great pastries and food, some of which are baked in house. It is a medium sized cafe. Anchorhead seems to be a favorite of digital nomads. I am usually one of many folks hunkering over their laptops.
Great coffee and great food. The staff is very friendly. Anchorhead is off the beaten path. Hence its not as hectic as other cafes.
On street parking only. While I typically have no problems, occasionally I need to park a little farther down the street. Monday through Thursday Anchorhead closes at 4pm.
- Monday-Thursday 6:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday-Sunday 7:00am – 7:00pm

Issaquah Cafes: Top Pot Donuts Issaquah
Top Pot is the infamous Seattle donut maker. The location in Issaquah looks like it was previously a drive up burger joint.
Above average coffee, I prefer Top Pot coffee over the corporate brew of Starbucks. Additionally Top Pot donuts are legendary and very tasty. The cafe is medium sized but you will usually find seating since most customers are in and out to get donuts.
Families love to come and get donuts at Top Pot. As a result you can expect a steady stream of parents and their children coming in and out of the cafe. If this is something you find distracting you may want to consider other options.
Top Pot Issaquah closes at 6pm. For evening work spots you will need to look else where.
- Monday-Friday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
